Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SurePay's platform, mobile applications, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.
The Service
SurePay is an escrow payment platform with verified logistics for Nigerian e-commerce. We facilitate secure transactions between buyers and vendors by holding funds in CBN-licensed escrow until products are physically verified and approved by the buyer.
User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use SurePay. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Transactions
SurePay charges a 2.5% transaction fee on the product value. All payments are held in secure escrow until the buyer verifies the product and enters their PIN. Buyers have a 5-minute inspection window after delivery to accept or reject the product.
Rider Requirements
All SurePay riders must provide valid government-issued identification, pass a background check, provide a guarantor, and complete our verification process. Riders are required to document all pickups and deliveries with photographs and timestamps.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between buyer and vendor, SurePay will mediate based on evidence provided by both parties and rider documentation. Our dispute resolution process aims to reach a fair outcome within 48 hours. SurePay acts as a neutral mediator and final decisions are binding.
Limitation of Liability
SurePay provides the platform for secure transactions but is not a party to the actual sale between buyers and vendors. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the truth or accuracy of listings, or the ability of vendors to complete sales.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
